Frequently asked questions

Common questions about how Parker works with your Salesforce, how it keeps you in control, and how it learns.

Platform & integration

Where does the data Parker uses actually come from?

Your Salesforce remains the source of truth. Parker queries your live records, related objects, and activity history, such as emails and call transcripts, to generate its insights. You can also upload knowledge sources, such as product brochures and policy PDFs, directly into Parker's knowledge base.

Can Parker do reporting that standard Salesforce reports struggle with?

Yes. Parker performs cross-object queries in plain English, for example "show me leads at accounts with recent email activity about a specific product", the kind of question that is difficult to express in a standard report or dashboard. You can then export the answer as a summary for a board pack or management update, on demand.

Does Parker automatically update my Salesforce records?

Not without you. Parker can be configured as read-only to ensure data integrity, and many teams start that way. Where write-back is enabled, Parker shows you exactly what it will change and waits for your explicit confirmation before anything is written to Salesforce.

What AI does Parker run on?

Parker is powered by Claude, grounded in your live Salesforce. Answers come from what Parker retrieves from your data at the moment you ask, with the source behind each claim shown, not from the model's general knowledge.

Sales & lead nurturing

How does Parker help me prepare for a discovery call?

Ask Parker to generate a lead brief. It synthesises the lead's history from the record, related emails, and call transcripts, identifies their persona, flags potential risks, and suggests talking points and questions based on their background and interests.

Will Parker send emails to my leads without me seeing them?

No. Parker drafts the response based on the enquiry and your knowledge base, then sends the draft to you first. You approve it, edit it, or tell Parker to rewrite it, for example "make it shorter" or "use a friendlier tone", before it is ever sent. You stay in control.

Can Parker help with geographic matching?

Yes. Parker can calculate drive times and distances between a lead's location and your available sites or territories, helping you identify the most viable opportunities early.

Compliance & control

How does Parker support compliant workflows?

Through compliance guardrails. Define the rules your business runs on, or upload your regulatory code and internal policy documents and Parker extracts them for you. The rules are applied to every output: if a draft breaches one, Parker flags it as non-compliant and holds it for review, and the rule that applied is cited in the response, so your team works to your compliance standards by default.

Can we define our own rules for Parker to follow?

Yes. You write your own rules in plain English, set their severity, and Parker applies them to every response. Rules can also be extracted automatically from your uploaded policy documents, and when a rule shapes an answer, it is cited right where it applied.

Can Parker see data a user is not allowed to see?

No. Parker works within each user's Salesforce permissions, so people only see the data your admins have already given them access to.

Training & feedback

How do I teach Parker to sound more like our brand?

Parker learns through memories. When you give feedback on a draft, such as "always use the full product name", Parker saves that as a learned behaviour and applies it to future interactions.

Can I use Parker for customer service as well as sales?

Absolutely. Parker works across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. On the service side it identifies emerging themes, quality issues, and regional patterns in case data, giving you high-level oversight without manual dashboard digging.
